Payment Options

The CHF Academy now offers three options for payment:

• REGISTER TODAY: Pay in full by check, PayPal or major credit card.
• HOLD YOUR SPOT: Hold your spot with 1/3 down and the balance is due two weeks before the class starts. ($20 processing fee applies)
• SIX-MONTH PAYMENT PLAN: Register for two or more classes for just $99 down. Then make six regular monthly payments, until paid in full. ($65 finance charge applies)

Designing and manufacturing custom ottomans allows your creativity to shine while adding a profitable dimension to your business.  They make great add-on sales.  They take a modest amount of fabric and scrap trims can even be used to spice up your creations. 

 

In this 2 day program you will learn how to upholster a semi-attached pillow top ottoman on a pre-built frame.  A semi-attached pillow top can also be applied to upholstering benches, bar stools, boxed dining room chairs, and other seating. Students will learn how to construct and attach a tailored skirt to the pillow top ottoman. 

 

We will also build from scratch a round ottoman.  From this simple technique you will be able to build any style ottoman you wish once you have completed the class.  We will deep button-tuff the top of the round ottoman.  This technique can be also used for cornice boards, and headboards.  Students will also learn how to attach pre-made legs to the ottoman frame.

 

Students will learn the use of foam cutting saws, a pneumatic stapler, button making machine, shears, needles and other related tools.  We will also discuss the various types of foam and their applications, fabric pattern placement and yardage estimating requirements.
